Instructions
-It is very important that you let the
referred physician know if you take any blood thinners.
- You
will be asked to have a recent laboratory coagulation
profile (INR, prothrombin time and concentration) results available with you
before the examination. If the results are not satisfactory, your procedure
will be postponed (or cancelled) until your results are more favorable.
-You are also asked to bring with you the most recent radiological
procedure available with you prior to the examination for proper planning of
the biopsy procedure.
-You will be kindly requested to sign a written consent
about the acceptance of the study and the possible complications that may occur
during or after the procedure prior to your
examination.
